Police Name Isaiah Wright-Young As 'Key Suspect' In Fatal Shooting

Police have named a "key suspect" wanted for questioning over the murder of a teenager who was shot while sitting in a car in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police warned members of the public not to approach Isaiah Wright-Young but report any sightings of him by dialling 999 immediately.

Mr Wright-Young, aged 36 and from the Birmingham area, is being sought by detectives investigating the death of 18-year-old Kenichi Phillips.

Detective Inspector Jim Munro said: “Two people have been charged in relation to the shooting of Kenichi Phillips on March 17 but this investigation is still very active.

“It’s important we locate Isaiah Wright-Young as soon as possible and I would urge anyone with any information about his whereabouts to contact us.”
