High-visibility patrols will be carried out by police investigating the abduction and rape of a 14-year-old schoolgirl exactly one week on from her ordeal.
No arrests have been made since the girl was made to get into a hatchback car as she walked in Banbury Road in Summertown, Oxford, last Wednesday morning.
Inside the car, which was possibly a Volkswagen, a second man was waiting. Following her abduction the teenager, who was wearing her school uniform, was raped.
After her ordeal, she was found knocking on doors in Cavendish Drive, Marston, and the alarm was raised, officers from Thames Valley Police's major crime unit said.
On Wednesday - exactly one week on from the crime - police will deploy high-visibility patrols in the area in a bid to unearth clues about her attackers.
Detective Superintendent Chris Ward, head of major crime at Thames Valley Police, said: "The victim continues to be offered on-going support by specially trained officers and other specialist agencies."
The girl has managed to give officers a description of her attackers. One was a man with shaven blond hair which was balding. He is in his mid-20s, of medium build with blue eyes and about 6ft tall.
The second offender is a man with brown hair that was gelled. He is in his late teens or early 20s, clean shaven, with brown eyes.
