Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas has revealed she timed her pregnancy to coincide with a break from the band.
The singer said she was determined not to be 'one of those girls touring with a bun in the oven' and only started trying for a baby after her 2011 world tour ended.
Speaking to WWD, the excited first-time mum-to-be said she knew she had to be at home with husband Josh Duhamel to 'make it happen'.
"I knew I had to get off tour to be pregnant - I wasn't going to be one of those girls touring with a bun in the oven... I knew I had to get home to make this happen. I have my hands and plate full now," she said.
"Being pregnant, it's great to do a lot of work from home. I do it being comfortable and not worrying about hair and make-up. As far as what I'm going to do when the child comes? I have no idea what I'm going to tell you."
Fergie also revealed that she and Josh will probably only have two children – despite previously saying she wanted five!
"It's important that you want the same thing, if you're going to go on this path together," she said.
