Hundreds of attractive young women are expected to pass their A-Levels today.
As a result, many of them will secure places on newspaper front pages.
Meanwhile, many thousands of unattractive teenagers - and boys - will sadly fail to get into the newspapers of their choice.
Experts have predicted that the number of pretty students featuring in newspapers is set to stall, or even drop, this year, as editors fail to find enough that "make the grade".
But middle-aged women have complained that it's "easier than ever" to make the front pages on A-Level results day.
"There was a time when you had to be really beautiful, able to jump in the air, smile and hold your results paper," said one. "Nowadays, it's all coursework."
