Prince George is already proving to be a trendsetter just like his mum the Duchess of Cambridge.

A pair of red striped dungarees worn by George have sold out less than 24 hours after he stepped out in them (quite literally - as it was the first time he has been seen walking).

George's dungarees are made by Spanish childrenswear brand Neck & Neck.

As soon as pictures emerged of George in the £33.99 Stripes Short Overall, Neck & Neck's website was flooded with customers eager to snap up a pair for their baby or toddler.

The dungarees were available in three colours (red, coral or denim blue) and in sizes for children aged from six months to four years. However, by this morning (Tuesday, June 17), the website was listing all sizes and colours as out of stock.

Kate had dressed George up in the unisex outfit for an outing to watch his dad, Prince William, take on his uncle, Prince Harry, at the annual Jerudong Trophy polo match.

The charity match at Cirencester Park Polo Club in Gloucestershire was the first time Prince George has been in the public eye since returning from the Royal tour of Australia.

Kate paired George's dungarees with a white Peter Pan collar shirt and Early Days' Alex Pre-Walkers, which cost £24.99.

Prince George will soon be celebrating his first birthday on July 22, and while details of how he will be celebrating are not yet known, one things for certain: whatever he wears to his party is certain to be a sell out!
