Kate Middleton recently joked her husband should use an alpaca wig to cover up his bald spot.
She made the joke when she was shown some alpaca wool by farmer Lyn Crejan that matched the colour of Prince William's hair.
According to The Daily Mirror, Ms Crejan, a farmer from the settlement of Glenn Innes in New South Wales said: "The Prince was interested in the alpaca and as I showed it to them the Princess said he should put it on his head.
"She said 'you need it more than me' and pointed to his head and he laughed."
But our image of Prince William's scalp, compared with that of his 65-year-old father Prince Charles, suggests the throwaway remark had some truth to it.
