Footage has emerged of American football player Ray Rice knocking his fiancée out unconscious.
TMZ have posted a video of Rice brutally punching Janay Palmer in the face face, knocking her out cold.
The incident occurred in an elevator on 15 February and the couple married one month after the altercation.

The footage appears to show Rice strike first, prompting Ms Palmer to retaliate before he delivers the knockout blow.
Rice, a running back for the Baltimore Ravens, received a two-game suspension from the NFL, who have been heavily criticised for issuing a lean punishment.
