Biffy Clyro are set to play Reading and Leeds Festivals this year.
The Scottish rock trio, whose new album Opposites is top of the UK charts, will make their debut on the Main Stage for their only festival performance, along with Eminem in another UK festival exclusive.
Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro
The group's frontman Simon Neil told NME.com: "Reading always felt like such an exotic festival. Even though it's been around since the 70s, it just really seemed to come alive in the 90s. I think that's when it became the cultural moment that it is now, and the fixture that it is in the calendar.
"It's just f****** bizarre. I still can't get my head round it."
System Of A Down, Fall Out Boy, Foals, Jake Bugg and Bring Me The Horizon have also joined the line-up.
Previously announced acts for the three-day music events include Alt-J, Deftones, Boy Better Know featuring Wiley, JME and Skepta and Sub Focus.
Tickets are available now at 2012 prices from www.readingfestival.com and www.leedsfestival.com.
