Sunday night was Emmys night and an extended star-studded event proved just the thing to vanquish our red carpet withdrawal symptoms.

So, the two main trends we took away from the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards outfit parade were:
1. The patriotic colour palette - reds, whites (and off-whites) and blues were so prevalent that the two green dresses and one yellow we saw had us pondering whether their celebrity wearers had missed out on a crucial memo. Kate Winslet rocked the red, Julianna Margulies wowed in white and Katie Holmes got the colour right and the shape wrong in blue.
2. One shoulder drama - the biggest fashion statements came with just the one shoulder strap and Kelly Osbourne rocketed right back onto our fashion radar with hers!
