As a presenter, actor and DJ, Reggie Yates already has many strings to his bow, but it seems he’s keen to add another.
The star has revealed his ambitions to become a film director, as he opened up to Richard Bacon about love, life and his career in HuffPost’s new original video series ‘30 Something’.
Speaking about his ambitions for the future, Reggie said: “I’d love to direct feature films at some point, that’s something that I’d want to do.”

Revealing how he made the jump from kids’ telly to more mainstream roles, Reggie explained: “I think the people that leave it until they’ve stopped are the people that struggle, or that find it tough.
“I think I was fortunate enough to be doing kids’ TV at the same time as doing 1Xtra, for instance.
“Well while I was talking to puppets on a Saturday, at night I would probably be in a club somewhere DJing and saying all kinds of crazy stuff.”
