There are very few Hollywood stars who have had a style evolution quite like Renee Zellweger.
The 45-year-old American actress first shot to fame starring alongside Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire, our favourite Zellweger movie of all time.
She kept her look fuss-free at the New York premiere in 1996, but there have been plenty more head-turning ensembles down the line.
She played the role that defined her - Bridget Jones - in the comedy flick Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), followed by Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago (2002) and Cold Mountain (2003.) With this, Renee became a regular on the red carpet scene at film premieres, the Oscars and the Golden Globes.
Her go-to designer? Anything by Carolina Herrera. (The wedding dress she wore by the Venezuelan-American fashion designer to marry Kenny Chesney in 2005 is a particular highlight in Renee's fashion history.)
However, after almost 20 years in the spotlight, it was the star's appearance at Elle's Annual Women in Hollywood Awards that caused a stir.
It's safe to say Renee didn't look like her usual self, but she's pleased that fans noticed.
"I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows," Renee told People magazine.
