Rihanna is set for a bumper pay day this Christmas - she's reportedly set to pocket £5m for turning on the festive lights at Stratford's Westfield shopping centre.
Just months after she performed at the Paralympics Closing Ceremony, the 'Umbrella' singer could be heading back to East London to mark the start of Christmas.
As well as flicking the switch on the lights, she'll also perform a mini set for fans - who are set to go crazy for the star if her 2010 appearance at Westfield in Shepherd's Bush is anything to go by.
A source tells The Sun: "Rihanna's thrilled she has been asked again. She knows it's a big deal and is totally up for it - if it fits in with her schedule.
"Westfield have had a great year due to the Olympics and want to fork out to celebrate. Even though the final contract is still being thrashed out, they're prepared to pay up to £5m for her. Organisers are expecting around 20,000 people to swamp the park.
"The Spice Girls were also discussed but Rihanna came out as the artist of choice."
Myf Ryan, general manager for marketing at the shopping centre, said: "The Christmas light switch-on at Westfield Stratford City is one of the highlights of the festive calendar.
"This year we want to thank our loyal shoppers by giving them something they'll never forget."
