Rihanna Sparks Concern After She Breaks Down In Tears During Dublin Gig

She had also arrived on stage 30 minutes late.

Rihanna has sparked concern from fans after breaking down unexplained while on stage.

The singer was performing at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on Tuesday (22 June) night, when she suddenly started crying while singing her Eminem collaboration 'Love The Way You Lie'.

Her tears came after she arrived on stage 30 minutes late for her scheduled performance.

In video footage posted by a fan on Instagram, Rihanna was seen taking a moment during the song to compose herself, turning away from the microphone.

As fans screamed out in support, she shook her head and wiped her eyes, before trying to carry on with the track, but tears could still be seen streaming down her face.

The 'Work' singer did not address the matter directly, but later told the crowd: "I only have ever in my life heard an audience of people scream so loud that they sound like one voice and that only happens in Ireland, in Dublin. Thank you so much."

She is currently in the middle of her Anti World Tour, in support of her eighth studio album 'Anti', which was released for free earlier this year.

The tour arrives in the UK on Friday, when she will play London's Wembley Stadium, before moving on to Coventry's Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

She will also play Glasgow and Manchester next week, before returning to these shores to headline V Festival in August.
