In a summons to Japan, the showdown will feature two huge robots in a rust-hungry battle for victory.
Team America's 12,000 pound full scale bot is designed to make robot combat a very real sport...
And Japan's machine of misery can be equipped with twin BB gatling guns which chillingly can be activated by a smile.

The confrontation will be fierce and it's difficult to predict who will come out on top.
Japan's robot is named the Kuratas and is built by heavy industry firm Suidobashi, and the fighter can be armed with a LOHAS water launcher and even a glove-controlled hand.

The four legged bot has an advanced control and targeting system and uses facial recognition technology.
America's Mark II Megabot
Team USA have named their challenger Mark ll Megabot and their machine is piloted by a team of two.
The Megabot can fire three pound paint cannonballs at a high speed of 120MPH.
MegaBots co-founder Matt Oehrlein says: "Suidobashi, we have a giant robot, you have a giant robot; you know what needs to happen. We challenge you to a duel."
