News teams have been camped outside St Mary's Hospital in London for weeks. We even have a – strangely addictive – live feed from the hospital entrance.
So wouldn't it be fabulous if Baby Cambridge arrived 40 miles away in peace and quiet instead?
Kate has been booked into the fancy Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington for a couple of months, but she has a back-up: The Royal Berkshire near her parents' house, where she is currently chilling out until Baby Cambridge decides to arrive.
If Kate goes into labour at her mum and dad's, and if Prince or Princess Cambridge makes a speedy entrance, she will be taken down the road to give birth, ditching the private hospital in Paddington over 50 miles away for a labour ward in Berkshire.

In this heat, and with London traffic, Royal aides are unlikely to bomb it into London from the Middletons' with Kate in labour.
Although we do quite like the idea of the new heir to the throne arriving on the back seat of a Range Rover...
Kate's paying a whopping £4,965 a night for a suit at the Lindo Wing. If she cancels, there will be a £350 cancellation fee in the post.
A Royal source told the Telegraph: "There are contingencies in place for wherever the Duchess happens to be, and one of them is the Royal Berkshire.
"It is still a possibility that she could give birth there, though that would only be in extremis, as the expectation is that she will go to St Mary's."
Alternatively, she's already welcomed little George or Alexandra and is enjoying blissful baby life in the garden with William changing nappies.
Nice idea, right?
