Between the regular series, All Stars editions and the new UK version, you’d be forgiven for having a little bit of Drag Race fatigue, but RuPaul is not done with chucking new incarnations at us just yet.

It has been confirmed that a new celebrity version of the show is coming to our screens in 2020.

The new series will see a host of famous faces each being guided on their Drag Race journeys by a former contestant.

While the amateur celebrity contestants are yet to be revealed, the classic queens returning to offer their support include former winners Bob The Drag Queen, Trinity The Tuck, Trixie Mattel and Monét X Change.

Joining them will be fan favourites Alyssa Edwards, Asia O’Hara, Kim Chi, Monique Hart, Nina West and *deep breath* “Miiiiiss Vanjiiiie”.

RuPaul said: “Doing drag does not change who you are, it reveals who you are. I can’t wait for the world to see what happens when our celebrity contestants get all up in drags!”

The series will debut on VH1 in the States next year, although it remains unclear whether it will also appear on Netflix or Comedy Central – who air the regular series and All Stars respectively – here in the UK.

Already confirmed for next year are the 12th series of RuPaul’s Drag Race and its fifth All Stars version, while the British version is currently in full swing on BBC Three.

A Canadian version is also in the works, while a third series of the Drag Race Thailand is also expected to debut in 2020.
