Russell Brand Trews Video Shows Comedian Pretending To Be Donald Trump

Russell Brand's Impression Of Donald Trump Is Downright Hilarious

It’s time to take a “brave stand against those horrendous villains of Planet Earth: Mexican people”.

Yes, those are actual words spoken by Russell Brand.

But don’t worry, it’s all part of his latest Trews video in which he takes a look at the bizarre statements that emerge when when you let Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly interview Donald Trump.

And turns out that the comedian can actually do an uncannily accurate impression of the US businessman.

Brand can barely contain his laughter in the clip, when he views footage of Trump labelling Mexican people as “rapists”.

Brand could barely contain himself as he mimicked Trump

Mimicking Trump, Brand says: “They’re part extraterrestrial, they’ve been engineered in a chem lab.”

He examines the Apprentice US star’s differing sympathies towards Mexican people and, in Trump’s words, the “fabulous young women” left “abandoned” after he lost his deal with NBC to show his beauty pageants.

Imitating Trump, who recently announced his intention to run for US president, Brand says: “You can attack me and you can slander my family and if you must you can kill me, but when you cancel a man’s beauty pageants, you cross a line.”

Watching a clip of Trump talking to Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, Brand remarks on how the entrepreneur seems unable to feel the same compassion towards immigrants from poorer countries that he feels for what he describes as “50 of the most lovely women you have ever seen”.

He asks: “How come Donald Trump lives in this sort of fibre-optic narrow tunnel of compassion for participants in beauty pageants and he can’t see that that same compassion could be applied to people from economically deprived backgrounds?”

Even O’Reilly, known for a number of controversies, seems to falter towards the end of Trump’s tirade, in which he promises to “make the country great again”.

Brand says: “Even Bill O’Reilly towards the end began to think ‘oh God, Donald Trump’s an idiot’.”

There may not have been a whole lot of analysis in this Trews video - Brand admits it himself - but you’ve got to hand it to him, he’s not half bad at a Trump impression.
