Rylan Clark: 'I Wanted To Kill Myself After First X Factor Live Show'

'I Wanted To Kill Myself'

Rylan Clark has admitted he wanted to kill himself whilst appearing on 'The X Factor' last year.

The 'Big Brother's Bit On The Side' host said he was left feeling like the 'most hated man in Britain' after the first live show, when he was controversially saved by the judges over Carolynne Poole after they both polled the fewest viewer votes.

When asked what his worst moment of his life was, he told Star magazine: "Week one of the live 'X Factor' shows, when I was saved, because I was the most hated man in Britain."

He continued: "I wanted to f**king kill myself. I was like: "This isn't worth it'. I tried to leave the show and at one point I did walk. Then I thought: 'I've worked so hard for this. I've got to prove why I should be here."

The singer eventually finished fifth in the competition and went on to land a presenting role on the 'Big Brother' spin-off show, 'Bit On The Side'.

During his debut on the show last month, his new set of teeth became a talking point on Twitter, with Rylan eventually having to speak out against negative comments made by internet trolls.

However, speaking to New! magazine, he revealed that he had new gnashers because he isn't happy with the way he looks.

"I'm going to be brutally honest, I've never been so depressed in my life. I don't like the way I look. I'm not happy with a lot of stuff at the moment. I just look at myself and think 'I'm not attractive,' that's why I'm changing everything now."
