A severely burned orphan whose festive wish was to fill up her Christmas card tree is having a magical time of year thanks to the kindness of strangers all over the world.
Five-year-old Safyre Terry and her aunt Liz Dolden have updated their Facebook page with pictures showing the thousands of cards, presents and kind gestures people have sent to the family.
The family's latest delivery was 185,000 cards and more than 4,000 packages as seen in the photo below.
Not only has the five-year-old been inundated with Christmas presents, her auntie has also surprised her with a trip to a Disney themepark, which she has planned since March.
This was also thanks to the kindness of a friend at school who nominated Safyre to a children's charity.
Dolden wrote on Facebook: "Back in March when Safyre had her foot amputated, on the hardest day of her stay in the hospital, we both just wanted to go home.
"As I was settling to go to sleep my husband called with this amazing news. He says we are going to Disney.
"Baking Memories 4 Children [a charity aiming to make memories for children with life threatening illnesses and their families] called him and said we want to send you to Disney. I thought he was kidding.
"Then he told me Safyre's boyfriend from school nominated her. And tomorrow's the big reveal. Biggest secret to hold. So excited I can't sleep."
Safyre is the sole survivor of an arson fire that killed her dad David Terry, 32, sister Layah, three, and her brothers Micheal, two, and Donavan, 11 months. In the fire, 75% of Safyre's body was burned.
On 4 December, Terry received her first Christmas card and was pictured with it on her Christmas card tree.
Dolder wrote on Facebook: "Safyre is thrilled we got our first Christmas card. Thank you Aunt Lonnie. Safyre is excited to fill up the card tree. Sending out lots of Holiday cheer to all."
Many people begun commenting on the photo saying everyone should try to "fill up that tree" for the five-year-old girl.
Since the original post, the pair have updated their now 123,000 fans on Facebook with all of Safyre's post arrivals.
