Fresh from revealing its latest curved TVs, Samsung might be about to announce something a lot smaller - but also a lot bigger.
Reports have emerged that the South Korean tech giant will launch a curved phone in October.
Reuters reports that the news was dropped by Samsung's mobile business head of strategic marketing D.J. Lee at a Galaxy Note 3 launch event in Seoul.
"We plan to introduce a smartphone with a curved display in South Korea in October," he is reported as saying.
But while you might be harbouring dreams of a phone you can fold up and put in your pocket, we're not expecting anything quite that innovative (yet).
What we're hearing and reading is that the phone will have a curve but not totally flexible design - unique, but not world-changing.
Back in January Engadget reported on a prototype Samsung device with a similar form factor - it seems that the phone to be announced this year will resemble that gadget in most respects.
