Apple has always sold its products as a way to bring families closer together. Samsung, in its recent line of new commercials for the their flagship Galaxy SIII phone, are doing the same.
Only saucier.
In a new ad the South Korean company depicts a husband leaving on a work trip. As he gets in the cab, his kids say they have made a video for him to watch on the plane - and send him the clip with the help of NFC by touching phones. Very sweet.
But then it turns out his wife has also made a film. "Don't watch it on the plane," she says, sending her own film over the air to her husband's device. His eyes widen. Wink Wink. Etc.
Okay, so it's not exactly salacious. But you wouldn't see Apple doing that, would you?
