After her return to Balmoral sparked rumours of a rekindled romance with Prince Andrew at the weekend, Sarah Ferguson has spoken out against the claims that she and her ex-husband are getting back together.
Ferguson's spokesperson has denied the rumours around the couple's reported romance and confirmed that they will always be friends as they support their daughters Beatrice and Eugenie. "They continue to be joint parents and best friends and try to set the best example for the girls", the spokesperson told Hello magazine.
Even so, Ferguson's invitation to spend the weekend with the royals in Balmoral is still poignant. (Since that toe-sucking incident in 1992, Sarah has missed out on the annual visits to the Queen's holiday home).
Although, is this latest report another sign that the couple won't be getting back together any time soon? Madame Tussauds told the Daily Mail, "We have re-cast and updated figures in the past - to date we've created 23 figures of the Queen. At this moment, we don't have plans to create new figures of the Duke and Duchess of York".
