Scarlett Johansson is one of the world's sexiest women, but the frustrated actress insists her stunning looks have hindered her career.
The Hollywood beauty believes she has lost out on several coveted roles, including Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, because of her sexy image.
The Mirror quotes Scarlett as saying: "That has happened to me before, yeah. That’s always an unfortunate thing to figure out. 'Why can’t you see?!' For me, I would imagine casting someone, you would want to challenge yourself in some way. It is so interesting to see actors transform. There are certainly plenty of times when I am definitely not sexy."

Scarlett has put her stunning figure down to a healthy lifestyle, adding: "I’m not overly strict. I like to go out and enjoy myself and drink a couple of glasses of wine and stay out late occasionally and eat a slice of cake. I work out and eat well most of the time and try to get some rest. I eat lots of kale. I try to stay away from meat and dairy and that."
Appearing sexy on screen has boosted the star's bank balance though - her turn as the catsuit-wearing Black Widow in box office smash The Avengers has prompted reports she will earn £13m for the sequel.
