A school Christmas choir concert went a bit pear-shaped when the benches the singers were stood on collapsed mid-song!
The singers from Carl Ben Eielson Middle School in the States were belting out a festive number when the benches they were stood on collapsed underneath them.
The youngsters were left a bit battered and bruised, but escaped without serious injury. The bosses at the shopping centre where the accident took place, West Acres Mall in North Dakota, treated all the students to a free meal to say sorry.
General manager, Rusty Papachek, described the accident as a 'very unfortunate incident' and said any medical claims would be handled by the mall's insurance company.
The accident comes days after another festive disaster in America, when an awkward Santa made a bumbling abseiling appearance, disappointing hundreds of children.
