Airline's Response To Customer Fat Shaming Their Flight Attendants Is Awesome

A sexist airline passenger who criticised female flight attendants' appearance has been well and truly owned on social media.

When Andres Horatio Pignataro made a hateful complaint about the "low quality" of Argentina Airlines' staff - apparently they are too "short" and "fat" for his liking - the airline hit back.

The comment, which was posted to the airline's Facebook page, said: “What gets my attention is the low quality of flight attendants that the company has.

"Before they were tall and nice, now they only take short, fat girls.”

The airline responded quickly (to the delight of social media) with a list of criteria that flight attendants have to meet to work aboard their planes.

These included that flight attendants should be: older than 18, between 5’4” and 5’7” (for women) or between 5’7” and 6’1” (for men), a citizen of Argentina, a high school graduate, in possession of a TCP license, able to speak English and able to swim.

And if that didn't show Pignataro who's boss, they signed off with: “Prejudice doesn’t fly, we leave it on the ground.”

Flight attendants quickly chimed in posting selfies with the hashtag #prejuiciosnovuelan (or #PrejudicesDoNotFly).

Well done, Argentina Airlines.
