Yup, Ohio resident Sheila Ranea Crabtree is so repulsed by her given name she’s having it changed.
(And we mean she really hates it – if her 15-year-old daughter addresses her by her first name she risks being grounded.)
Here comes Sexy
So she’s changing it to ‘Sexy’, The Toronto Sun reveals.
"I do wear a lot of Victoria's Secret clothes and my husband calls me sexy all the time," Crabtree explained to Fox19.com.
"I really want to do Sexy because it's kinda like my personality. I just love to be adventurous, have fun and do all kinds of things."
On 'Sheila': "It's just one of those names that I can't stand. I hate the fact that I have been cursed with it," she told the station. "My mom gave me my middle name of Ranea and my dad gave me my ugly name."
Crabtree has filled out her forms, paid her fees and placed a 30-day notice in a local paper in preparation for her big day when she will stand in front of a judge to make her formal request.
And if it doesn’t happen? She’s plumping for ‘Sparkle’.
