Welcome home, Shelby!
Yes, Shelby the moggy ran away from her family’s home in Geelong, Australia in 2001 - and turned back up on their doorstep this week.
Because the poor old thing was covered in matted fur and lice, her owner Paula Harper-Adams didn't initially recognise her, and thought it was simply a stray. But a couple of trips to the vet later, the family realised that it was, in fact, their very own Shelby. Hoorah!
