A pushy dad was caught on video kicking his terrified six-year-old son off a skateboard ramp platform.
Shocked Ryan Stephens, 13, uploaded the video of Marcus Crossland putting the boot into his child who's plucking up the courage to speed down the high platform. Predictably he falls - and it must have hurt a lot. But his father has already turned away.
The teenager who recorded this shocking video asked the father why he had pushed his son.
Ryan recalled: "He said 'because he needs to learn'. I was like 'pushing him down is not teaching him how to drop in'. And then he said, 'Do you think you can raise him better than me?' and I said yes."
According to the park's owner, the boy was unharmed and carried on skating afterwards.
First Coast News said the incident happened at Jacksonville's Kona State Park in the US.
Martin Ramos, the skate park's operator, said the father and son were regulars at the park and had spoken to the dad.
He told the news station: "He said he was just caught up in the moment. He seemed very remorseful. He certainly understands the gravity of the situation and it seems like he is going to be answering to this thing for quite some time to come.
"Unfortunately parents get so enthusiastic about their kids and their abilities in skateboarding, or baseball, or football or whatever and sometimes they take it a little too far."
Ramos has asked Crossland to stay away from the park for the foreseeable future.
Child welfare services are now investigating the incident.
The man's son, nicknamed Dino the Dinosaur, is well-known in the area and his dad has uploaded several videos of him skating and performing tricks to YouTube.
Perhaps he should have a worst-dad-off with this man?
