Snow Leopard Is Practically Invisible As It Stalks Its Prey (PICTURES)

Here’s a snow leopard wearing an invisibility cloak.

Can you see him? He is there, promise.

Masterfully blending into the rocky terrain of the Himalayas, the big cat was photographed stalking its hapless prey.

The images were shot by snapper Adam Riley in India’s largest national park – Hemis – in the north east of the country.

Snow leopards are hunted for their thick, grey fur pelts, making them an endangered species.

The total population of snow leopards is estimated at less than 2,500 adults worldwide, WWF writes.

They typically live at elevations of around 3,000-4,500m in arid and semi-arid shrubland and grassland across Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
