UPDATE 'Planegina': US Airways Explains Why It Tweeted Aeronautical Porn At Passengers (NSFW PICTURE)
In terms of things you definitely don’t want tweeted from an official business account, this is probably top of the list.
Somebody on the US Airways Twitter account was conversing with a passenger complaining about a delayed flight when all of a sudden… an image of a naked woman with a model aeroplane protruding from her vagina made it into the feed.
Well that escalated quickly.
Intriguingly, the image remained online for around an hour before it was taken down with the explanation: “We apologise for an inappropriate image recently shared as a link in one of our responses. We’ve removed the tweet and are investigating.”
Customers @ElleRafter and @ThatKATZkat had earlier been tweeting their displeasure at the airline's "poor service" and delays.
The image in question was tweeted in response to @ThatKATZkat's accusation the carrier had "ruined my spring break, I want some free stuff @USAirways H8 YOU."
@ElleRafter's response to the picture in question? "Yikes".
