A photo of a fatal motorcycle crash scene is going viral after viewers claimed it showed the dead man’s soul leaving his body.
Saul Vazquez witnessed the aftermath of the incident in Kentucky and posted the image to Facebook.
He wrote: “I took this picture just a few minutes ago from the cab of my truck. It was an accident between Campton and Stanton on the service road just off of the mountain parkway.
“Zoom in and pay attention to the shadow just off the top of the state trooper’s hat. All I say is I hope everyone involved is OK!!”
According to local news outlet Lex18, the crash occurred on Tuesday. It cites officials as confirming the male victim was declared dead at a nearby hospital.
Vazquez’s picture has been shared more than 6,000 times, with one commenter thanking him for capturing “the spirit of the soul”.
On the Lex18 Facebook page, commenter Bunny Wilson wrote: “There are no unpleasant photos here. Looks to me like a loved one was there to lift him up. I would think this picture should hopefully be a blessing.”
Tom Wilson added: “I cropped it and ran i through some filters. Definitely looks like something is there. Doesn’t look like foliage to me.”
Meanwhile others remain quite sure the image has been Photoshopped. Another theory is that the apparition is... vape smoke.
