New York Fashion Week is all systems go and we've already clocked some killer collections.
Tia Cibani's catwalk show revealed that next season is about uncompromising displays of female fashion and form - inspired by THE Frida Kahlo.
Cibani models were all about the Mexican heroine and if that's the rule for Spring/Summer 2014 (portraits of broody beauty, slicked back buns and masculine-oversized shapes) we can't wait.
To master the art of the Kahlo effect you will need:
1. Pastel pieces to team with bright flashes of yellow, pink and blue. You're a Mexican landscape.
2. Heavy brows - nothing too monobrow, but your look needs to be bold in an I-don't-need-no-man kinda way.
3. Practice a sharp, scraped back, plaited updo EVERY SINGLE DAY. Think Croydon facelift but in an artistic way. You're not hard as nails - you're busy and place no value in blow-dries.
Take a spin through this gallery from day one of New York Fashion Week - they're only just getting warmed up.
