A teenager who has inspired almost £3.2 million of online charity donations while battling incurable cancer has ticked another item off his bucket list.
Stephen Sutton expressed delight that friends and members of the public had helped him set what he claimed was a new world record - for the highest number of people forming a heart shape with their hands.
More than 550 people gathered at Chase Terrace Technology College in the 19-year-old's home town of Burntwood, Staffordshire, to set the new high.
Stephen was discharged from Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, hours after meeting David Cameron, who later praised the teenager's "incredible" zest for life during his three-year fight against multiple tumours.
Stephen announced on Facebook that he has been discharged from hospital and described his recovery as "quite remarkable".
Mr Cameron has tweeted a link to Stephen's JustGiving page, where he is raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, urging people to donate, saying: "An honour to meet @_StephensStory today - his courage is an inspiration to all of us."
More than 132,000 people have so far made donations to the JustGiving page.
