Two men are going on trial at the Old Bailey on Monday, charged with the murder of teenager Stephen Lawrence nearly 20 years ago.
Gary Dobson, 36, and David Norris, 35, are accused of being in a group of white youths who stabbed the A-level student to death in 1993.
The teenager, who had hopes of being an architect, was walking to a bus stop in Eltham, south east London, when he was killed.
The killing is one of the most high-profile unsolved murder cases in Britain.
Both Dobson, 36, and Norris, 35, of south London, deny murdering the 18-year-old. The trial , which is before Mr Justice Treacy, is expected to last six weeks. A jury panel is expected to be selected today but the trial will not open until later this week.
Lawrence's parents, who divorced after the death of their son, are expected to appear in court for the first day of the trial.
Norris, represented by Stephen Batten QC and Dobson, defended by Timothy Roberts QC, were arrested September last year but due to reporting restrictions, the news could not be made public until May.
Mark Ellison, QC, leads the prosecution team.
