Steve Jones has never exactly been the shy and retiring type and he proved it when he popped up on the The Ellen DeGeneres show in the US.
The X Factor USA host stripped off after agreeing to model a t-shirt the host had given him - much to the delight of the studio audience.
Now call us cynical, but could this have been a ploy by the Welshman to win over the American public after they failed to warm to him on the US version of the talent show? Steve has been criticised by US viewers for cutting off the X Factor judges mid-sentence and rushing them to make decisions - something he blames on the show's producers.
"I'm wearing an earpiece and there's about five people screaming, 'shut Paula up. Shut her up now. Move on'," he told Ellen. "I'm going to have hearing damage in this ear by the end of series. I feel terrible because I feel on occasions I'm coming across as rude and abrupt and that's really not me."
And Steve's not the only one in the firing line. Judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger have received death threats on Twitter after they voted off 14-year-old Drew Ryniewicz from the show, something Steve found concerning.
Speaking to Life and Style Magazine, he said: "There is a lot of money and fame at stake, but still, everyone just chill-out please.
"It's a TV show. Death threats always raise a certain amount of concern. I think it's something you always have to take seriously and I'm sure security will be amped up at the studio."
