A large, ginger Norwegian Forest cat stolen from outside a north London home in July has been reunited with his owner.

Mr Muk was grabbed in Petherton Road, Islington, on August 1, Scotland Yard said.

On Tuesday, 25 September, a 22-year-old man was arrested at an address in West Hampstead on suspicion of theft. He has been taken into custody at a north London police station.

On Wednesday, the cat’s owner posted an image of herself clutching her pet, declaring: “Thank you for all your help, prayers and love… I couldn’t be more grateful.”
