As unusual birth locations go, this one is certainly up there with the best.
A baby has been born a whopping 1000 ft in the air in a Shetland Coastguard helicopter!
The expectant mum went into labour on Unst, the most northerly inhabited island of the UK, and was collected by helicopter to be taken to the mainland.
The crew landed on Unst at 6am, and collected the mum and dad-to-be. Their little boy was born over a place called Lunna Holm at around 6.30am, weighing just over 6lbs.
He was delivered by winch man Marcus Wigfull, and winch operator Friedie Manson, both of whom are also paramedics.
Alex Dodge, watch manager at Shetland Coastguard, said: "This is the first time that a baby has been delivered on the coastguard search and rescue helicopter based at Sumburgh in the Shetland islands.
"We would like to congratulate the mother and father on the birth of their son, who is reported to be doing well."
Huge congratulations mum, dad and all the helicopter crew!
