‘Loose Women’ star Linda Robson has revealed she has turned down an offer to appear on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, over fears she would be the token ‘joke’ dancer.
MORE 'STRICTLY':
The ‘Birds Of A Feather’ star was offered a big money deal to star on the new series of the BBC ballroom show, but feared she would “traumatise” her children by making a spectacle of herself.

"You have to know your capabilities. I could not learn one routine,” Linda told the Daily Star.
"I don't mind people laughing with me but my kids would be traumatised. I would be the joke one if I went on the show and I don't want that."
The ‘Birds Of A Feather’ actress tipped her co-star Lesley Joseph to take her spot on the show, saying that she would be "fantastic".
Linda's not the only ‘Loose Women’ panelist to be approached for the new series though, as Jamelia has reportedly signed up to ‘Strictly’, having turned down an offer to do ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ instead.
Jamelia
A source told The Sun: “Jamelia is going to be a hot favourite right from the start. She’s stunning, has long legs and is experienced with dance routines because of her pop past.
“We expect her to be at the standard of Pixie Lott, who did really well last year.”
Other celebs rumoured to be taking part in this year’s series include couple Louise and Jamie Redknapp, Peter Andre, former ‘Daybreak’ host Adrian Chiles, ‘Miranda’ star Tom Ellis, ex-’Coronation Street’ star Georgia May Foote and ‘BBC Breakfast’ weather presenter Carol Kirkwood.
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ returns to BBC One in the autumn.
