Daisy Lowe has opened up about her recent break-up, after becoming the latest victim of the so-called ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ curse.

The British model - who was eliminated from ‘Strictly’ in this weekend’s results show, following a dance-off against Greg Rutherford - was first reported to have split from her boyfriend Bradley “Frankie” Wade last week.

Addressing the split for the first time in an interview with The Sun, Daisy has admitted that she felt her involvement in the show was responsible for the end of her relationship.

Daisy had a turbulent time of it on ‘Strictly’, landing in the bottom two three times until she and professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec were eventually sent home in Sunday night’s (13 November) show.

She said of her exit: “I’ve met people I will have in my life forever and it’s taught me so much more than I ever expected about myself and about my confidence.”

The two are leaving the competition at an unfortunate time, with the remaining seven couples performing at Blackpool Tower next week.

See them all in action in Saturday’s (19 November) ‘Strictly’ live show, kicking off at 6.55pm on BBC One.
