Almost three months after 14 inexperienced and at times incompetent celebrities unveiled their sequined ballroom dance costumes for the launch of this season's Strictly Come Dancing, the show's finale is upon us.
The weak have been whittled out, those who fell rather than floated are long gone, and we're left with three stellar Strictly finalists - McFly's Harry Judd, Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey and Aussie singer Jason Donovan.
Strictly judge Alesha Dixon has revealed her predictions for who will win, ruling out showbiz stalwart Donovan from the race. Speaking to Graham Norton on his chat show, Dixon predicted: "It will either be Chelsee or Harry.
"Chelsee is a brilliant dancer but I think a lot of women have a soft spot for Harry."
Is she right? Well Donovan does seem to take it all a little seriously. It's not as entertaining to see a man who has spent the last 20 years on and off stage in one form or another take the lead. The former Neighbours hearthrob, pop idol and West End star has long been a song and dance man and has come across as somewhat of a teachers' pet during Strictly. He topped the leaderboard for four of the first five weeks but has since been seen to struggle when the dance, such as Latin, doesn't suit him.
Drummer Harry Judd is the bookies' favourite to win tomorrow night - despite the fact that he's the only finalist who hasn't yet scored a perfect 40. His youthful good looks and impressive chest have done wonders for his fan base, who dutifully vote to keep him in each week, but that's not to say he can't dance - he just doesn't evoke much emotion when he's doing it.
Disappointingly, Judd won't be taking his shirt off for the final, he told this month's Attitude magazine, while happily posing with his gym-honed six-pack for the cover: "People must be thinking, 'Put it away, mate. That guy is obsessed with himself.'"
Another thing in his favour is the fact that Strictly viewers tend to like a "nice young chap". Former champions Tom Chambers and Chris Hollins, and last year's runner-up Matt Baker, all shared the same inoffensive characteristics.
The most interesting finalist, the one who has shown remarkable progress, achieved perfect 40 scores and provided endless amusement with wardrobe malfunctions and ditzy comments is Healey.
We were all a bit doubtful when the BBC signed her up to the show - for people who don't watch Waterloo Road, Healey was virtually unknown and seemed less than elegant ballroom dancing material.
But the 23-year-old has won a place in the viewers' hearts and is now snapping at the heels of Judd. At a Strictly press conference this week, she revealed she's planning a "show dance" to set her apart from her competitors.
She told journalists: "I love my song and I've been told I've got a Beyonce outfit so I'm very happy."
She's full of energy and, unlike drummer Judd and pop star Donovan, she had no musical head start. The actress is partnered with Strictly first-timer Pasha Kovalev and even had restricted training time due to her shooting schedule for Waterloo Road.
Healey is undoubtedly the most deserving of this year's glitter ball trophy, but can she get past Judd's adoring fans to take the title? By the end of tomorrow night's final at Blackpool's Tower Ballroom, from 7pm on BBC1, we'll know.
