In news we would never have imagined a month ago, Jake Wood once again topped the leaderboard in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ on Saturday night.
MORE 'STRICTLY' NEWS:
Each week, the ‘EastEnders’ actor - famous for playing hardman Max Branning in the BBC soap - has been the one to watch, whether he’s charming us with his salsa, showing us his serious side with his waltz or, frankly, getting us surprisingly hot under the collar with his tango.
He once again got the biggest praise on Saturday night, landing himself at the top of the leaderboard thanks to his jive to Elvis Presley’s ‘All Shook Up’, bagging 33 points from the judges of a possible 40.

Earning the same number of points as Jake, and getting a joint spot at the top of the leaderboard, was former ‘Xtra Factor’ presenter Caroline Flack, who wowed viewers with her performance to ‘We Go Together’ from ‘Grease’.
Just below them were Pixie Lott, who burst into tears at the end of her performance, and Frankie Bridge, who opened the show with a cha cha cha set to Carly Rae Jepsen’s signature song, ‘Call Me Maybe’.
She may not have been the most technically perfect, but the performance of the night for us has to go to former ‘Big Brother’ housemate and ‘This Morning’ reporter Alison Hammond, who was a force to be reckoned with, strutting her stuff to the Destiny’s Child hit ‘Bootylicious’.
Find out whether the judges’ scores reflect what the public thought in Sunday night’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ results show, airing at 7.20pm on BBC One.
