News of the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ curse travels far, and Michael Bublé has now joked that it’s the reason why he would never sign up for the show.

The Canadian crooner married actress Luisana Lopilato in 2011, and the couple have two children together.

Now, during a chat with the Daily Star, he’s sadly ruled out a ‘Strictly’ appearance.

So far this year, there have been no ‘Strictly’ break-ups - or hook-ups - but previous years have seen a number of celebrity contestants split from their partners, either during their time on the show, or shortly after appearing.

Last year’s series saw Georgia May Foote start a relationship with her pro partner Giovanni Pernice, though they split shortly before the 2016 episodes began filming.

Past stars who have fallen victim to the curse include Rachel Riley, who split from her husband Jamie Gilbert.

She later started a relationship with her dance partner Pasha Kovalev, though the couple remain insistent that they were just friends until months after Rachel and Jamie’s split.
