Seann Walsh And Katya Jones Favourites To Leave 'Strictly Come Dancing', Bookies Odds Reveal

The comedian is the bookies' top pick for the chop.

Seann Walsh’s days on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ could well be numbered, according to the bookies, at least.

For the past week, the comedian and his ‘Strictly’ partner Katya Jones have dominated the headlines, ever since they were caught on camera kissing during a night out.

Since then, the pair have both issued apologies on their social media accounts, though they weren’t out of the woods for long, after the comedian’s now-ex posted her own statement, accusing him of branding her a “psycho” for questioning whether anything was going on between him and his dance partner.

Following her statement, Seann faced calls to quit the show altogether, though he ignored the furore and will be dancing a Charleston in this week’s live show.

However, if the bookies are to be believed, he won’t be sticking around for much longer, with William Hill naming him their top pick to get the boot next, with odds of 11/8.

Their spokesperson said: “The odds suggest that Seann will struggle to get enough votes to be out of the bottom two. After the week these two have had it will be hard to focus and we think their dancing will inevitably suffer.”

Fellow competitors Faye Tozer, Joe Sugg and Stacey Dooley should all breathe a sigh of relief, though, with William Hill naming them as the outsiders for the chop, each on odds of 100/1.

So far in the competition, Seann and Katya have avoided the bottom two altogether, and last week reached their highest score by far, bagging 30 points from the judges, landing them in fifth place on the night.

‘Strictly’ continues on Saturday night at 6.40pm on BBC One.
