‘Strictly Come Dancing' Results: Thom Evans Leaves After Dance Off Against Simon Webbe (PICS)

Another Couple Leave 'Strictly'

Thom Evans has become the latest star to exit ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, after failing to impress the viewers with his Cha Cha on Saturday evening.

The rugby star and his pro partner Iveta Lukosiute landed themselves bottom two after he viewers votes had been counted, along with Simon Webbe and his partner Kristina Rihanoff.

Once both couple had performed their routines again, it was time for the judges to decide who should leave the competition.

Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell both opted to save Thom, while Bruno plumped for Simon, giving head judge Len Goodman the deciding vote.

“I look at the footwork and the feet and the couple with the cleanest footwork were Simon and Kristina,” Len stated. “So that is the couple I am saving.”

Speaking after receiving the news, Thom said: “This experience exceeded all my expectations; it is one of the best experiences of my life.

“From the judges to the other contestants to the backroom staff, everyone does such a brilliant job and helps you feel confident going into every show.

“I also want to thank my partner Iveta,” he added. “She has been immensely patient over these last couple of weeks and she couldn’t have worked harder. I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart.”

During their time on the competition, Thom and Iveta were at the centre of relationship rumours and they reportedly enjoyed a number of dates when they weren't busy rehearsing.

The result mean that Judy Murray and Scott Mills, who received the least amount of points from the judges this week, will join the other remaining stars for next week’s Halloween special.
