One couple will be leaving this weekend...

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ bosses have revealed which songs and dances the contestants are hoping will see them through the first elimination this weekend.

While the competition kicked off last Saturday, this week will see the first couple leave the show, and it looks like everyone is pulling out all the stops to ensure it isn’t them.

Last week’s opening show saw all 15 couples take to the floor for the first time, with mixed fortunes.

Faye Tozer and Ashley Roberts both topped the leaderboard with their routines, scoring 29 points out of a possible 40.

At the other end of the table was Susannah Constantine, who picked up just 12 points for her Samba, with judge Bruno Tonioli remarking: “It was more like Car Crash Miranda than Carmen Miranda.”

But with the judges’ scores from last week combined with this week, who will suffer the unlucky fate of landing in the first dance off?

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ continues on Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC One.
