A section of the City of London was reopened today after a suspicious package turned out to be a Deliveroo take-away bag.
Bishopsgate and Liverpool Street were cordoned off by police after they received a call around 10am but have since reopened.
Specialist officers were on the scene assessing the situation and were seen examining a Deliveroo bag.
Long queues of traffic formed and workers were told to stay in their buildings.
City of London police wouldn't comment on the package.
Police activity on nearby London Bridge was due to an unrelated police training exercise.
