A Netherland-based artist has created a pill that could demolish the need for deodorants forever, as it promises to turn sweat into scented perfume.
The capsule 'Swallowable Parfum' capsule is said to have the power to turn skin into an 'atomiser' working with the body's metabolism, and delivers perfume directly into the body.
This means that when the person perspires, the scented fragrance oozes through the skin, giving off a unique smell.
Also, because we are all genetically unique, the perfumed sweat will be individual to us all, putting an end to the search for the perfect scent many of us look for in a perfume.
"Swallowable Parfum is a digestible scented capsule that emits a unique odour through your own perspiration," says the creator behind the unusual capsule, Lucy McCrae.
McCrae has teamed up with synthetic biologist Sheref Mansy and hope that their creation will, "biologically enhance second skin, synthesized directly from the natural processes of the body". They've also released a provocative promotional video.
But before you put the Swallowable Perfume on your Christmas list, it is still in development and is yet to have a launch date.
