Emeli Sande was the singer of choice to open the Olympics Closing Ceremony after 80,000 fans counted down with a replica of Big Ben to the fabulous finale event.
The singer belted out a wonderful performance of Read All About It as people and cars in the background were entirely wrapped up in newspaper.
Madness, One Direction, Pet Shop Boys, Elbow, and Ray Davies also performed, while Olympic Ambassadors Duchess Kate and Prince Harry took centre stage in the stalls.
In fact, the ceremony showcased 50 years of British music, and was watched by one billion people around the world.
The Kaiser Chiefs performed The Who's Pinball Wizard, while Ed Sheeran did Pink Floyd proud Russell Brand paid tribute to The Beatles, while Muse tinkled the ivories, and Fatboy Slim popped out of an octopus,
Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye played WonderwallFreedom, Jessie J stole the show when she joined Queen on stage, Take That put in a surprise performance, and The Who did a brilliant medley of their best hits.
