Actress Tamera Mowry, most commonly known for her role in Sister, Sister has given birth to her second child with husband Adam Housley.

The 36-year-old twin gave birth to a girl named Ariah Talea Houseley on Wednesday.

The proud father-of-two tweeted the news to let the world know his daughter had arrived.

He wrote: "We are so blessed and excited right now. Ariah Talea Housley was born at 2:54... she looks so much like Aden."

Mowry, who has not yet posted to talk about her new baby, gave birth to her first child Aden John Tanner Housley in November 2012.

Last week she uploaded a photo showing her blossoming baby bump before the arrival of her daughter, Ariah.

The actress documented her pregnancy journey through several blog posts on her own website.

The most recent post - Welcoming A New Baby Girl - was written on behalf of the couple to announce the birth and congratulate them.

It read: "We’re more than ecstatic to say a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the Housley family. Please join us in welcoming their new baby girl, Ariah Talea Housley, who arrived this afternoon at 2:54 pm.

"Ariah is healthy, Tamera is recovering nicely and all of the family is overjoyed with their new addition."

In late June, Mowry discussed how she had been trying to keep fit and continue exercising during her pregnancy.

She uploaded a post about her pregnancy fitness routine on her blog.

She wrote: "I’ve always felt it was important to continue some type of workout throughout my pregnancy to keep my muscles strong and body feeling good (exercise releases endorphins which helps with our mood and ability to manage pain)."
