Calvin Harris has expressed regret after posting a string of tweets where he laid into ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
As we’re sure you recall, Calvin hit out at his ex-girlfriend on the social media site shortly after it was reported she’d begun dating Tom Hiddleston, when it was revealed that she’d co-written parts of his song, ‘This Is What You Came For’.
Accusing her of trying to “tear him down”, Calvin also suggested Taylor has a penchant for publicly “burying” those she has a problem with, explicitly referencing her ongoing feud with Katy Perry.
Opening up in the new issue of GQ, Calvin insisted: “It’s very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly. The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicised than the relationship itself.
Addressing what he described as “that Twitter thing”, he explained: “Now I see [that] as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realise that none of that stuff matters. I’m a positive guy.
It has since been reported that Taylor and Tom have ended their relationship, with conflicting rumours circulating that both parties ended it for different reasons.
